A month ago, it was reported that Google Fi has stopped offering the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL devices on its website. This was a way for the Google-owned wireless carrier to prepare its shelves for the arrival of the Pixel 3 devices.

As reported, it looks like Google Fi is running a promotion for the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL.

When you purchase either device, you get a $100 Fi Credit from the provider. The condition is that you must purchase either device and have it activated with full service within 30 days. This means that it is not eligible for a data-only SIM service.

With the discount in place, the price of the two devices goes becomes:

  • Pixel 3a - $299 (originally $399)
  • Pixel 3a XL - $379 (originally $479)

In addition to the credit on the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL, Google Fi is also running a discount on two other devices:

  • Moto G6 - $99 (originally $249)
  • Moto G7 - $249 (originally $299)

The promotion is available for a limited time period only.

  1. Or choose $100 google store (NOT play store) credit.

  2. $400 - $250 iPhone SE/6/6s trade in credit - $100 credit (file or G store) = $50 + $31 tax.

Got one for $81 if you value the credit at full face value. Even valued at $0, $181 is pretty decent if you want to part with an older-ish or beat but still turns on iPhone. That $250 valuation is richer than you'll get anywhere else I saw.
