Tracfone Offering $50 Annual Plan on eBay for a Limited Time

Tracfone has just unveiled a new plan that you can purchase exclusively on their eBay store.

The new smartphone plan is a 365-day plan that comes with 1,200 minutes, 1,200 texts, and 3GB of 4G LTE data for $49.99. This annual plan shows to have an average cost of $4.17 per month.

While this may sound like a really neat deal, it's important to note that these service allotments are not renewable every month. They are intended to last a whole year.

So when you run out of talk, text or data, you will have to purchase an add-on card. Tracfone offers add-on cards at these rates:

  • 500 minutes for $10
  • 1GB of data for $10
  • 1,000 additional texts for $5
  • $10 global calling card

These add-on cards do not expire and rollover to the next month as long as the account stays active.

This new annual plan is currently listed as a limited time offer. Get to know more about the plan here.

Tracfone offers service under AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile's networks.

  1. Net10 Now Offering eBay Exclusive Annual Plans, Get 5GB Data For $20/Month on Verizon or AT&T or T-Mobile Networks. NO on Sprint Network. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Net10-Prepaid-Wireless-Phone-Plan-SIM-Unlimited-Talk-Text-5GB/283471231068

  2. Plan is locked to sim. Cannot be applied to current service.

  3. I would think that, if you have TMFL, this would cancel that on your account.

  4. Seems to me that Red Pocket is a much better deal for $10 bucks more. This might work if you know you will use less than 100 min/txts per month but anyone that needs even a little data--I can't imagine this plan working. People on Ebay are sure buying it up for some odd reason!

  5. Well this sounds like the most bullshit plan I've ever seen

  6. Apparently, this plan is a new activation and won't add minutes to an existing plan if you are a Tracfone subscriber. They say you can transfer the minutes once you activate but "the airtime or service plan is only valid as a one-time redemption. Therefore, the benefits for talk, text and data received will only be added once, which will be good for the next 365 days of service."

Not sure if that means one transfer per account or one transfer per year. Also no information on how long you can wait before you can activate the SIM if you want to wait a while.

  7. Will this work on existing smartphones or is it only valid during a new activation? Can anyone confirm it adds to existing talk/text/data?
