Earlier this week, Google unveiled its newest flagship series, the Pixel 3a. Under this series, there are two main devices known as the Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL. Find out where you can purchase either device and the specs Google included in each one.

The Pixel 3a comes with a 5.6-inch OLED display with a 1080x2220 pixel resolution. Meanwhile, the Pixel 3a XL has a larger 6-inch OLED display with a 1080x2160 pixel resolution.  From within, both devices run on a 2GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage. The two devices are also equipped with the same camera configuration: a single 12.2-megapixel camera on the back with Dual LED flash and 4K UHD video recording. In front, there is an 8-megapixel sensor available on both phones.

Battery-wise, this is where things get interesting for both devices. The Pixel 3a comes with a 3,000mAh battery; while the Pixel 3a XL (of course) comes with a larger 3,700mAh battery. The two devices feature NFC and a fingerprint scanner. They both also include a 3.5mm headphone jack, Night Sight and Portrait mode in camera app, a squeeze shortcut for Google Assistant, and call screening.

As of this writing, the two devices are already on sale on Google. But Google promises the two will be expanded to T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular, and Verizon by tomorrow. For pricing, the Pixel 3a is available for $399 while the Pixel 3a XL is available for $479. Both come in Just Black, Purple-ish, and Clearly White color options.

If you head over to B&H Photo, you can get a $100 gift card when you purchase either device. The purchase also includes a prepaid SIM card for Mint Mobile. Meanwhile, Best Buy is offering a $100 gift card on either device purchased on a contract or unlocked. The offer ends on May 18th.

  2. Does this mean the Pixel 4a and 4a XL will not come out for another year? Or will these mid range smart phones come out around the same time as the Pixel 4? Thank you.
