Axon 10 Pro is ZTE's New Flagship to Hit US Shores Since Ban

ZTE has a just unveiled a new smartphone and it's making its way to the U.S. This is the first smartphone that ZTE is bringing to the U.S. ever since it was banned a year ago.

The ZTE Axon 10 Pro is a new smartphone that comes with power packed specs. The device comes with a 6.5-inch full HD AMOLED display with curved edges. From within, the device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with 8-12GB of RAM, 256GB onboard storage, and expandable memory via a microSD card slot.

From the back, there are three cameras to shoot from: a 48-megapixel main sensor, 20-megapixel wide-angle lens, and 8-megapixel sensor with 3x telephoto. In front, the selfie camera has a 20-megapixel sensor. Other features include wireless charging, Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging, NFC, optical in-display fingerprint reader, 4,000mAh battery, and water resistance. Upon release, the phone runs on the latest Android 9 OS. ZTE promises they will be launching Android 10 OS update by the end of the year.

Right now, pre-orders for the 8GB RAM base model is currently available at ZTE, B&H Photo, and Newegg for $549. The 12GB RAM version is priced at $599. Shipping will start early next month.
