Here's Where You Can Get an Unlocked LG Stylo 5

Ever since it was launched, the LG Stylo 5 could only be purchased directly from carriers in the U.S. There was no option to purchase the device unlocked and use it on a carrier that you already have. Thankfully, this is set to change real soon.

Thanks to PhoneArena's discovery, B&H Video is the only retailer in the country where you can make a pre-order for the LG Stylo 5. The device is priced at $299.99 unlocked, which is the same price that most U.S. carriers offer it.

The LG Stylo 5 comes with a 6.2-inch display with a 1080x2160 resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable memory. There is a 13-megapixel camera sensor on the back and a 5-megapixel sensor in front. Other features include a 3,500mAh battery, Stylus, and a fingerprint sensor. Upon release, the phone runs Android 9 Pie OS.

If you opt to pre-order this device from B&H, a release date is not readily available. But you can get some assurance since the retailer advertises it as "coming soon".

You can check out the B&H listing here.

  1. Is it "universal" carrier for all USA MNO? Or is it GSM only, CDMA/LTE only?

    2. According to the B&H listing, it is unlocked for all 4 major carriers so it would work on all USA MVNO's.

  2. $299 for what is essentially the Stylo 4 is absolutely ridiculous. No wonder LG is struggling to make a profit.

  3. Why would someone want to pay $300 for a phone with SD450, when the same money would buy Moto G7 with SD632?
