Republic Wireless' Data-Only Plan is Back

Around a couple of weeks ago, it was reported that Republic Wireless had plans to bring back its data-only plan. The plan, originally launched in December as a trial plan, came with unlimited 20GB of LTE data for $29.99 for 30 days and $74.99 for 90 days. It was discontinued in March this year by the Sprint and T-Mobile MVNO.

Now, it looks like Republic Wireless has made good on its word and has brought back its data-only SIM plan. The MVNO announced the good news today and has even added in a 50% discount as part of its launch.

Republic Wireless' data-only SIM plan comes with 10GB of 4G LTE data for $60. This plan operates under T-Mobile's network, which means it is compatible with GSM devices. Once the billing cycle ends, you will need to buy a new data-only SIM if you wish to continue using service under the plan.

As part of its launch, the MVNO is offering 50% off on the data-only SIM plan. Instead of paying $60 for the plan, you can get it for $30.

  1. 30 days only and then you have to buy a new full priced sim card. How is this a good deal for only 10GB ???
