HMD Global Unveils Nokia 2.3 Smartphone

HMD Global has unveiled a new budget-friendly Android smartphone, the Nokia 2.3. This smartphone follows the footsteps of its predecessor, the Nokia 2.2 that was introduced earlier in the year.

The new smartphone comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ display. The phone runs on a MediaTek Helio P22 processor with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, and a microSD card for expandable storage. It also includes a couple of cameras on the back: a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with support for Face Unlock.

One of the main selling points of the Nokia 2.3 is the 4,000mAh battery that comes inside it. The battery gives the device up to two days of battery life on a single charge. Additionally, it comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio support, and a microUSB charging port. You also get a dedicated Google Assistant button on the side for quick access. Upon release, it runs on Android 9 Pie but can be updated to Android 10.

The Nokia 2.3 will launch in mid-December at a price of $121. There are three color options available: Sand, Charcoal, and Cyan Green.
