Consumer Cellular: Now With 3.75 Million Subscribers

Consumer Cellular now has 3.75 million subscribers!

The report comes from Wave7 Research's recent findings. Prior to this count, the MVNO had a subscriber count of only 3.5 million. And that counts was made in August 2019. With a growing rate of nearly 42,000 subscribers each month, the MVNO was able to reach almost 4 million subscribers.

This is pretty impressive for the MVNO ever since they left Best Buy. It was noted that ever since the exit, the MVNO improved its lineup of wireless plans.  They have also been able to offer two promotions. One of those promos is a $50 account credit on newly activated lines, a promotion that the MVNO continues to offer until March 31, 2020.

The promotion is open to both new and existing customers who add a line to their account. If multiple lines will be activated, a credit for each line will be given. The credit will also be paid out in $10 monthly installments for 5 months.

If you are interested in this offer, make sure to visit their website to learn more about its details.

  1. I remember checking their coverage map however long ago for my area in WA state, Seattle, and it was AT&T native, now their coverage map shows my coverage area is being provided by T-Mobile native. Are they now using these two GSM companies to provide service?

  2. Consumer Cellular has been using AT&T and T-Mobile for quite some time now.
