AT&T Closing 40% Retail Stores Temporarily

Earlier this week, T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon announced that they will be closing their retail stores temporarily in a way to fight the virus.

Following in their footsteps, AT&T has announced that it will be closing 40% of its retail stores beginning today.

The closure affects all retail and authorized retail stores situated inside malls and high traffic areas. AT&T says its stores will be closed on Sundays.

As for the stores that will remain open, they will have adjusted hours. The stores will only be open from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm local time.

The coronavirus pandemic has also also caused AT&T's call centers to be affected. With plenty of its employees on leave due to their high risk for the virus, the company has adjusted its process. Because of this, customers may have to experience longer hold times.
