Good news to all parents! Microsoft has just announced that they will be bringing over their Family Safety tools to both Android and iOS devices. With this decision, they will be able to offer its Microsoft 365 subscribers additional safety options to protect their family members and friends.

According to the report, this safety app will allow parents to have control over the screen time of their children whether they use an Xbox, PC, or Android device.

The parents will also be receiving notifications once their child arrives or leaves a certain place through its location tracking features.

Another feature of the app is that there will be pop-ups on the notification panel for upcoming calendar events and school assignments. And yes, young drivers will have access to the driving reports. Good driving habits are promoted by the app.

Microsoft is getting ready to launch a limited preview of this app "in the coming months". Unlike Android users, iOS users will not have access to control features like app access and screen time. But they can use the parental options that are within the platform of the app. This allows them to control certain things like restrict web content, block apps, access Game Center, and many others.

The app is expected to launch later this year.
