Red Magic 5G Gaming Phone First to Have 144Hz Refresh Rate

There's a new gaming phone that promises to truly deliver to its promise.

The Red Magic 5G is the latest gaming phone to be revealed to the public. One of the things that make it stand out is its 144Hz refresh rate display, which stands out from the other devices that only offer 120Hz. In fact, it is the first device in the world to offer this refresh rate on a gaming phone.

The Red Magic 5G also comes with a 6.65-inch AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 865 processor with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB onboard memory.

The phone also comes with built-in shoulder trigger buttons that make for a better experience when gaming. It has a 300Hz touch refresh rate with 2ms touch delay. The phone also has an Active Liquid-Cooling feature with Turbo Fan 3.0 tech that helps it produce 200% better cooling compared to the past devices.

The Red Magic 5G also has a triple camera configuration on the back. This setup comes with a 64-megapixel main sensor with Sony IMX686, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth camera. In front, there is a 12-megapixel camera for selfies. The device also has a 4,500mAh battery with support for up to 55W fast charging.

The device was launched in China this week and is expected to roll out around the world by April. Its price starts at $542 for the 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage model. The 12GB of RAM and 128GB storage model will reportedly cost $585.
