Verizon Prepaid Letting You Save Money on Unlimited Plan

Verizon Prepaid currently has an exclusive offer for its new customers. Starting today, new customers can sign up for Verizon Prepaid's $70 per month unlimited plan and pay only $55 per month. The offer is exclusively available at dealers and cannot be found on Verizon's website.

This isn't the first time Verizon made this offer. Last year, it offered the same plan for $55 per month with autopay. The big difference here is that the new offer comes out to $50 per month with autopay enabled.

The unlimited plan in this offer is available for both smartphones and devices that require data-only plans. However the plan features in both are different. If you opt for the smartphone plan, you will get unlimited talk, text, and 4G LTE data. It also comes with unlimited international texting to over 200 countries and unlimited talk to Mexico & Canada. Additional lines can be purchased at $45 per month.

If you are opting for the data-only plan, it will come with unlimited 30GB high-speed data. Once this allotted data is consumed, the speed is throttled to 600Kbps.

There is also another option to save more money by buying several months of service. You can purchase a 3-month plan in advance and pay $148.50. This will entitle you to four months of service instead of just three. This is an eBay exclusive offer.

There is no mention of an end date for this promotion. According to Verizon, those who activate their plan under this offer will continue to get the rate as long as their lines remain active. Again, this offer is exclusively available at select dealers.

  1. Verizon Prepaid wants $5 extra a day for a Travel Pass for service FROM Mexico to the US with this new promotion of $50 for the $70 Unlimited plan. I'm paying $45 on AT&T Prepaid for 22 gigs, which I'll never come close to using, WITH Mexico included.

  2. Please correct the part about the multi-month service option. That is not offered by Verizon, it is an exclusive offer by epay. And the 4th month of service you mention is based on porting in your number and receiving the $60 port in credit from Verizon, which can be used towards a month of service or other features.
