Verizon Now Offering Samsung Galaxy A01 and Galaxy A51

Yesterday, Samsung unveiled a total of 6 new smartphones that it was launching this year under the A-series. Today, we're getting more information on at least two of these phones and where they will be sold.

Verizon Wireless confirmed today that they will be offering two of the budget devices, namely the Galaxy A01 and the Galaxy A51.

As for the specs, this is the additional information that Verizon has made available to its readers:

Samsung Galaxy A01

It comes with a 5.7-inch HD+ TFT display with a 1520x720 resolution. From within, the phone runs on a 2GHz+1.45GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, and a microSD card slot for expandable storage.

Camera-wise, the phone has a dual camera setup in the back: a 13-megapixel main and 2-megapixel depth camera. In front, there is a 5-megapixel sensor available. The battery is 3,000mAh.

Verizon will be selling this entry-level device at $109.99.


Samsung Galaxy A51

As for the more upscale device, the Samsung Galaxy A51 comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 2400x1080 resolution. From within, the phone runs on a 2.3GHz+1.7GHz Octa-Core Exynos 9611 processor with 4GB of RAM, 128GB onboard storage, and a microSD card slot for memory expansion. 

There are four cameras on the back: a 48-megapixel main, 12-megapixel wide, 5-megapixel macro, and another 5-megapixel depth sensor. In front, the selfie camera has a 32-megapixel sensor. The device is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 15W Adaptive Fast Charging capability. 

Verizon will be selling this at $399.99.
