Motorola Edge+ Now Available at Verizon

Motorola is entering the 5G smartphone industry and they are making sure their smartphone matches the ones that are already in the market. Their flagship device, known as the Motorola Edge+, promises to do exactly that.

The device comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ screen. It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with a whooping 12GB of RAM and 256GB onboard storage.

The phone has a quad-rear camera configuration with a 108-megapixel main sensor, 8-megapixel telephoto lens, 16-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a depth sensor. In front, there is a 25-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Other features include a 5,000mAh battery, a fingerprint scanner, a splash resistant frame, a headphone jack, and 5G connectivity. It is available in Smoky Sangria or Thunder Grey color options.

Right now, it has been confirmed that this device will be launched as a Verizon-exclusive device. In fact, you can already purchase this phone from the carrier. It costs $999 but with an option to get it on a 24-month installment plan and pay $41.66 per month.

If you purchase the phone online, you can save half on the activation fee. There is also a $550 discount with an eligible trade-in.

  1. RAM costs very little today in relation to the other components yet phone builders still only add the most RAM to their priciest devices. At least this is not $1500 or $2000 like Samsung and Apple.
Making it exclusive to Verizon is stupid. When will the unlocked variants appear? 2 months? 3 months?
The colors are irrelevant since smart users add a case.
