Samsung Galaxy A71 5G Heading to US in Summer

Samsung will be launching its latest mid-range smartphone in Australia next week.

The device, called the Samsung Galaxy A31, will be available through the manufacturer's website and retail stores starting May 18th and will be priced at $499.

The Galaxy A31 comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display. From within, the phone operates on an Octa-Core processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage. There is a 48-megapixel main sensor on the back with a couple of 5-megapixel sensors, and an 8-megapixel camera. It has a 5,000mAh battery, an on-screen fingerprint sensor, and runs Android 10 OS upon unboxing.

Another smartphone that Samsung will be offering alongside the Galaxy A31 is the Galaxy A71. This is a high end model with 5G compatibility and will be sold at $899 starting May 20th. This phone comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display. It runs on an Octa-Core Snapdragon processor with 6 or 8GB of RAM, 128GB onboard storage, and has a 4,500mAh battery.

The Galaxy A71 includes a 64-megapixel camera, 12-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel depth sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor all on its rear. In front, there is a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. It runs Android 10 upon release.

While there is no announcement on the Galaxy A31, the Galaxy A71 will be released in the US in the summer for $599. It will be available in White, Black, Blue, and Pink color variants.
