Sony Xperia 1 II Coming to US Real Soon

The Sony Xperia 1 II (pronounced as "Xperia 1 mark two") made its official debut three months ago. And now, it looks like it is finally ready to launch in the country.

About its specs, the Xperia 1 II comes with a 6.5-inch OLED display. It runs on a Snapdragon 865 processor with 8GB of RAM, 256GB onboard storage, and a microSD card slot for up to 1TB memory expansion. It also comes with a 4,000mAh battery with Qi wireless charging.

The phone includes a four rear-camera configuration with three 12-megapixel cameras (wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto), and a 3D ToF sensor for autofocus. In front, there is an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.

There is a fingerprint reader on the side of the phone. It also includes IP68 water resistance and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Upon release, the phone runs on Android 10 OS.

Starting June 1st, you can already pre-order the device. It is said to launch a month after, on July 24th. The new flagship is priced at $1,199.99. But for a limited time period, Sony is giving away a pair of WF-1000XM3 truly wireless earbuds that normally cost $230.

The device will be sold unlocked. It is compatible with the networks of AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Metro by T-Mobile, and Cricket Wireless.
