Moto E6 Now Only $25 With Activation

motorola-e6-discounted-$25-with-activation
Best Buy is currently offering the Moto E6 at an affordable price.

Normally, the Moto E6 is priced at $150. With today's promotion, you can get your hands on this phone for just $25. There is, however, a catch. You will need to activate service under AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon in order to get the discounted price.

This is actually a pretty good deal if you're already looking to activate a new line of service under any of the three carriers mentioned.

You can get to know more about this deal here

  1. Don't buy if you plan on porting to/using on a Sprint MVNO!

Data won't work & Moto/Sprint seem in no hurry to fix this issue which has been known for at least 5 months.

    1. Not sure why someone would say data doesn't work on Sprint or Sprint MVNO. It most certainly does work...

    2. TLDR - personal experience - Sprint MVNO data does NOT work on Moto e6

Tello (Sprint MVNO) recently tried for a week through several levels of tech./network support to get data to work on my Moto e6.
      No go.
Worked just fine on my Moto g5 and really old e(2?).
I tried with Ting & Twigby to make sure it wasn't a Tello problem.
      No go.
Maybe I should have tried a Sprint MVNO that doesn't start with "T"? ;)
During all this one of them (Twigby?) referred me to a Lenovo/Moto tech. forum where Sprint MVNO data not working/provisioning is referred to as a know problem (w/apparently Sprint & Moto pointing fingers at each other) with no current resolution, nor one promised/projected.
You won't find a single Sprint MVNO selling the Moto e6 because it is not compatible.
Sold the e6 as it was useless to me, wasted way more time than this cheap phone is worth.
The next Moto in the e line is already out so I have my doubts that this issue will ever be fixed.

    3. Would love to know any Sprint MVNO that has data working on the Moto e6.

Could you please share the name of the Sprint MVNO where I can use an e6 w/data working?

    4. The no-data issue is when activating on Sprint MVNOs. Data works on Sprint Postpaid. (I haven't seen reports either way on Sprint's in-house prepaid brands.)

  2. Says it's unlocked. So if I activate with AT&T now, can it be used with Verizon later?

  3. Nevermind - I found the answer in the description: "Universal unlocked
Compatible with all major U.S. carriers, including Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile. Also works with prepaid carriers, such as Cricket Wireless, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, Simple Mobile, Total Wireless, Tracfone, Net10, Mint, and H2O."
