Motorola has two new phones to add to its lineup-- the Moto E and Moto G Fast. Get to know these two phones here.

Moto E

Out of the two, the Moto E is the cheaper option. It comes with a 6.2-inch display with a 1520x720 resolution. It has a water repellent frame.

The phone runs on an Octa-Core Snapdragon 632 processor with 2GB of RAM, 32GB onboard storage, and a microSD card slot for expandable storage. The back of the phone has a dual camera configuration with a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth camera for portraits. In front, there is a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

It also comes with a 3,550mAh battery, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a fingerprint reader. Upon release, the phone runs on Android 10 OS.

Motorola will be selling this device at $149.99. It is already available for pre-order but will be launched on June 12. The device will be sold unlocked at major retailers and will soon be available at Boost Mobile, Consumer Cellular, Metro by T-Mobile, Republic Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Verizon Prepaid, and Xfinity Mobile.

Moto G Fast

Motorola's other device, the Moto G Fast, highly resembles the appearance of the Moto G Power. But in order to bring down the price of the former, Motorola has made changes to the Moto G Fast. The two phones come with a 6.4-inch display, but the G Fast has a 1560x720 resolution instead of the 1080p on the G Power.

From within, the Moto G Fast runs on the same Snapdragon 665 processor but has a 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard memory instead of the G Power's 4GB RAM/64GB onboard storage capacity. There is a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

Camera-wise, the Moto G Fast has a triple camera configuration on the back. It has a 16-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. In front, another 8-megapixel camera is available for selfies and video calls.

Other features include a 4,000mAh battery, fingerprint reader, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also has a water repellent frame and runs Android 10 out of the box.

Motorola will be selling the Moto G Fast at $199.99, which is $50 less than the price of the Moto G Power. It is available for pre-orders and will also be launching on June 12 at major retailers. There are plans to launch this phone at Boost Mobile.

  1. The world needs more practical $150 phones. And I'm tired of people saying to buy an outdated flagship phone used.

  2. Many are unaware Lenovo now owns the Mororola brand. All Moto phones are now made in China of low quality. Forget about warranty claims. Lenovo has been caught installing Spyware in their computers.
