Samsung Releasing Galaxy Z Flip 5G Soon

Just a few months after Samsung unveiled its Galaxy Z Flip phone and we're already looking at a possible successor for this phone.

In addition to the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Fold 2. The two new phones are expected to be discussed at the upcoming Unpacked event scheduled for August.

Out of the two devices, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G is set out to be the more affordable option. While it looks like it will have the same design as its predecessor, the big difference is that this new phone will come with 5G capability.

Another notable change is that the new model will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. The official unveiling is still several weeks away but Bluetooth SIG has recently certified the device.

The listing on their website shows a few variants of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. One of those variants suggest that a model will be heading to the U.S. The reports say that this variant will be compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint.
