AT&T: First to Offer LG Velvet in the US

Last week, it was reported that LG could be releasing their latest smartphone in August. But as it turns out, we might be seeing the LG Velvet in the country starting tomorrow.

The LG Velvet will be launching at AT&T for $599. If you are planning to get your hands on this device, you can purchase it online since it won't be available in stores until August 7th. T-Mobile and Verizon are said to offer this device "later this summer".

LG has included a 6.8-inch OLED display with a 2460x1080 pixel resolution on the Velvet. It is powered by a Snapdragon 765G processor with 6GB of RAM, 128GB onboard storage, and up to 2TB memory expansion. It also comes with an IP68 water and dust resistance, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 5G connectivity, stereo speakers, and Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ fast charging.

Camera-wise, the phone has three cameras on the back--- a 48-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. In front, there is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. It runs on Android 10 OS and has a 4,300mAh battery.

The US version of the LG Velvet will be available in Aurora Gray, Aurora Silver, Aurora Red, and Pink White colors.
