For quite some time now, Google One has offered its phone backup to paid users on Android devices. But it looks like Google One is making this feature available to more users, even the ones using an iPhone.

According to reports, Google will be offering the features of Google One to free users. This means that Android users will be able to enjoy automatic phone backups without paying for anything. Users get to enjoy 15GB of storage with a Google account.

Google will also be expanding this offer to iPhone users via a new Google One app for iOS. With this app, iPhone users will be able to have their photos, videos, contacts, and calendar events backed up into their Google account. This is also available to free Google One tier.

If the 15GB storage space is not enough for your files, you can pay to upgrade your storage size. The price to upgrade include the following options:

  • 100 GB - $2 per month or $20 per year
  • 2TB - $10 per month or $100 per year

The Google One app for iOS will be launching soon.
