Google Pixel 4a Rumored to Launch on August 3

There are rumors that suggest that Google could be launching its latest flagship on August 3rd. After a few delays, it's highly possible that the Pixel 4a could be revealed in a few days.

This report comes from John Prosser, a credible tipster who has a mixed track record. The Pixel 4a was supposed to be launched in May but has been pushed back to a later date after a series of mishaps.

The reports first started when the Pixel 4a was seen at the FCC in late June. Prior to this sighting, the device was listed on a few European retailers. Now it looks like the rumored August 3rd launch could be plausible.

Another possible hint that the device is coming soon is the fact that Google has discontinued the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL. The company has done this in previous launches, which suggest they are doing the same thing with the Pixel 4a.

When the device officially launches, the rumored specs of the Pixel 4a will finally be put to rest. As reports have shown, there is nothing special that can be expected from the device. It is said to be a LTE-only device that will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor and have a 5.81-inch display. Camera-wise, the device is believed to have a 12-megapixel main sensor and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Other rumors suggest that the phone will have 6GB of RAM, up to 128GB onboard storage, and a 3,080mAh battery.

It is rumored to have a $349 price tag, which would be acceptable given its specs. But then again, these are all rumors. We have to wait until August 3rd if Google will be unveiling this device.
