On a blog post recently published by Samsung, the South Korean manufacturer revealed that they will be announcing a total of five new devices at its upcoming Unpacked event. The announcement was shared by the president and head of mobile communications business, Tae-moon Roh.

"At this summer's Galaxy Unpacked, we'll be introducing five new power devices. You will be empowered to live life to the fullest with these devices in your hand (and in your ears, and on your wrist.)"

With the recent leaks that have surfaced, it might be safe to assume that three of these phones will be the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 20 Plus, and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. There are also some rumors that the company will be unveiling a pair of new true wireless headphones called the Galaxy Buds Live; and also a new unnamed smartwatch.

The Samsung executive also revealed what the company has been doing over the past few months. Roh shared that they have been invested on research and development for products that will lead to "even bolder innovation." The executive shared that they are working on making mobile tech that is "more personal, intelligent, useful, and secure." This is in reference to more phones with foldable displays and 5G connectivity.

Roh also revealed that they are collaborating with Microsoft "to expand through our gaming partnership with Xbox."

While the pandemic has put a stop to some of its plans, Samsung has taken to "take care of our local communities, partners and employees, while still building resilience for future operations."

Samsung's Unpacked event will take place on August 5th.
