Google Pixel 4a Now Available for Pre-Orders

It's official! Google has finally taken the wraps off of its latest smartphone, the Google Pixel 4a.

The Pixel 4a comes with a 5.8-inch OLED display with Now Playing and Always-On Display features. From within, the device runs on a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

It is said to have a 3,140mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The device runs Android 10 OS upon release.

For a 2020 smartphone, the mid-range Pixel 4a sports just one rear-facing camera-- a 12.2-megapixel camera with 4K UHD video recording. In front, there is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Other features include a capacitive fingerprint scanner underneath the "G" logo found on the rear of the phone. It also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and NFC.

If you are interested in this device, you can pre-order it from the Google website and other big retailers in the country. It is priced at $349 and will be available later this month. It works on Google Fi, U.S. Cellular, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon.

  1. Good to see the hugely popular and hugely used 3.5 mm audio port is not being removed but sad to see such a small battery.
The 5G model will be $499 list when announced per other web news via Google on our Android phones.

  2. Can't remember the last time I used an audio port on a phone.
