AT&T Will Start Selling Motorola One 5G on September 18

A few weeks ago, AT&T announced that it will be offering Motorola's latest 5G smartphone "soon." And it looks like we're finally getting an idea on when this phone will be arriving.

Earlier today, AT&T revealed that the Motorola One 5G will be arriving in-stores and online within this week. The Motorola One 5G comes with a 6.7-inch display with a 2520x1080 resolution. From within, the device runs on a Snapdragon 765 processor with 4GB of RAM, 128GB onboard storage, and a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

There are a total of four cameras on the back-- a 48-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. In front, there are two cameras consisting of a 16-megapixel ultra-wide lens and an 8-megapixel standard camera.

Other features include a 5,000mAh battery, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC support, and a USB-C port for charging. It does include 5G capability. Upon release, the phone runs on Android 10 OS.

To be more specific, they will start selling the phone on September 18 at $449.99. But you can get your hands on the phone for $5 per month for 30 months. At this price, you'll end up paying $180 for the phone. But the catch is that you will have to add a new line on an unlimited plan. Still, it's a pretty good deal for AT&T customers.

  1. This might also have the cool Moto exclusive feature where lazy video makers can hold the phone vertically but, if they tap the widescreen button, can make a proper wide screen video. Check it out in phone stores selling the LTE only version of this same phone.
Hopefully other phone makers copy this feature and we no longer see lazy "skinny" videos. Just saying..
