Google Sends Out Invite for September 30 Event

Google has been teasing the public about two of its upcoming phones-- the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G. And now it looks like the date for the official unveiling has finally been announced.

Earlier today, Google sent out an invite to members of the press for a "Launch Night" event. The event is slated for September 30 at 11:00 am PT. In its invite, Google promises that they will be talking about their "new Chromecast, latest smart speaker, and new Pixel phones."

It's pretty clear that Google is hinting at launching the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 at this upcoming event. Ever since the company announced the Pixel 4a, they have already confirmed the two phones.

In addition to its launch date, Google revealed that the Pixel 4a 5G will be priced at $499 upon release. The price of the Pixel 5, however, has not been discussed.

At the event on September 30, Google will be unveiling their new Nest smart speaker and a Chromecast Android TV dongle called "Sabrina". These two devices have been leaked for quite some time already so it's only expected that we should hear about them soon.
