T-Mobile-Exclusive LG Velvet is More Affordable Than Others

The LG Velvet 5G is one of the most anticipated phones these days. And now that it has gotten an official launch date, carrier availability, and price, it's exciting to see how well this phone will be accepted by the public.

Even though the device has already been launched by AT&T and Verizon, a T-Mobile-exclusive model is hitting the shelves. More specifically, the T-Mobile-exclusive model will be available in two color options: Pink White and Aurora Gray.

Another feature that will be exclusive to the T-Mobile model is that the LG Velvet T-Mobile version will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1000C processor instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor found in the model that AT&T and Verizon are both selling. As a result of this processor change, the T-Mobile version costs a bit cheaper than its counterpart. Not to mention, this marks the device as the first 5G phone in the country with a MediaTek chipset.

According to the report, T-Mobile will be launching the device on September 10th. It will be sold for $588 instead of the $600 price that the other carriers are selling.

There's no word yet on availability on Metro by T-Mobile. But it's possible that it could be offered soon.
