US Mobile Now Has a Disclaimer on Additional Fees on Its Website

US Mobile has made its fees more transparent on its website.

As discovered by Coverage Critic, the T-Mobile and Verizon MVNO has started to include a disclaimer on its website regarding its extra fees. This way, new customers won't get surprised when the item they are purchasing suddenly has a different price.

In the past, the prepaid provider did not acknowledge additional fees until it was time for the customer to complete his purchase on the website. But with this change, it's much easier to understand that taxes and fees are not yet included in the posted prices.

But to be fair, US Mobile's CEO, Ahmed Khattak, has made a pretty valid statement on his Twitter account. The CEO shared that while they appreciate being called out for its hidden fees, "most carriers still show the fee's [sic] on the last step."

This is something that makes a lot of sense and the MVNO should not be singled out for this action. There are still several other brands that do not follow the practice of disclosing hidden fees until it's time to checkout.

But for US Mobile, good job on making additional fees more transparent on your website!
