Yahoo Mobile Now Selling Exclusive Purple ZTE Blade A3Y Model

Yahoo Mobile has just unveiled an exclusive smartphone manufactured by ZTE.

Earlier today, the Verizon-owned MVNO took the wraps off of the ZTE Blade A3Y. This device comes with a purple hue that is exclusive to the brand. In addition to its color, the device is preloaded with native Yahoo Mobile apps like Yahoo News, Yahoo Mail Pro, Yahoo Finance, Yahoo Weather, and Yahoo Sports.

The ZTE Blade A3Y is basically the same as the Blade A3 Prime that is offered by Yahoo Mobile's sister company, Visible. It comes with a 5.4-inch display with a 720p resolution. From within, the device runs on a lower-end 2GHz Quad-Core MediaTek processor with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, and up to 2TB memory expansion via a microSD card.

On the back, you'll find an 8-megapixel camera with a fingerprint sensor next to it. The phone also comes with a USB-C port for charging and a removable back plate to reach the 2,660mAh battery. Upon release, the device runs on Android 10 OS.

Yahoo Mobile is selling this device at $49.99 and you can pair it with the $40 per month unlimited plan that is carried by the MVNO. Certain new customers can get the phone for free, but Yahoo Mobile did not disclose a lot of information regarding this offer.

You can check out the device here for more details.
