Verizon has partnered with HMD Global to produce the Finnish manufacturer's first ever Nokia device with 5G UW support. This was earlier revealed through by accident through a livestream countdown video posted on YouTube by HMD Global. The video mentions a release date for the Nokia 8 V 5G UW too.

The video, originally spotted by AndroidPolice, hinted the partnership between the two companies. Although the video has since been removed, it showed that the Nokia 8 V 5G UW will be revealed on Verizon on November 9th. If all goes according to schedule, the device might not just be unveiled on that day but will also be available for purchase right away.

For its specs, it's possible that the Nokia 8 V 5G UW will have the same features as the Nokia 8.3 5G device. This will be the Verizon-exclusive model of the mid-range phone with some promising features.

To start with, the Nokia 8.3 5G features a 6.8-inch display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and internal storage option of 64GB or 128GB. There is a quad-camera configuration on the back consisting of a 64-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel camera, and two other 2-megapixel sensors. In front, a 24-megapixel camera is available for selfies and video calls. It will also have a 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast charging capability and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Since HMD Global and Verizon have not officially unveiled the Nokia 8 V 5G UW, it's possible that not all of these features will be included in the device. But for the most part, it could likely be keeping the ones that are most important.

We'll know more about the device on November 9th.
