Report: Samsung Working on Samsung Galaxy S21 Series

According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy S21 has already entered its production stage. And although it hasn't been made official, the new Galaxy s21 series may be unveiled in mid-January and with a launch in February.

The report comes from a South Korean publication, which shared Samsung's plans to make the Galaxy S21 series compete with the latest Apple flagship series. Another report has cited the suppliers of Samsung and that these are already being produced in large quantities in their partner factories. These components are made by third party manufacturers before they are shipped off to Vietnam and South Korea where they undergo the final production stage.

While Samsung usually holds an Unpacked event in February or March, it's possible that they could unveil these new phones a month early. This is so they can reduce the publicity period of the iPhone 12 series.

There were previous reports that Samsung already started production for the Galaxy S21 Ultra. There were also some released renders showcasing what's in store for this device. Reports show that this device could have a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with subtle curves. It's rumored to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor with 12GB of RAM, 128GB onboard storage, and a microSD card slot for memory expansion. It is expected to run Android 11 and One UI 3.0 upon release. Other rumors point to a 5,000mAh battery and either four or five rear-facing cameras.

But with no official word from the South Korean manufacturer, we will have to take all of these information lightly.
